Story Behind the Girl

Growing up in Zachary, Louisiana was an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I loved the small-town atmosphere, the close-knit community, & the slower pace of life. But as I grew older and my interests expanded, I knew that I needed to leave Zachary to pursue my dreams.

In 2008, I enrolled at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Geography with minors in GIS and Sociology. Long before my time at LSU, I became interested in true crime & the criminal justice system, but university allowed me to explore these topics through my studies.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to stay in Baton Rouge & later enrolled at Regis University to pursue a Master’s degree in Criminology with a focus on cybercrime & terrorism. This was an area that fascinated me, and I was eager to learn more about it.

Although I’d been recommending products to friends & family for years, simply because I loved the thorough research involved in finding just the right fit, I officially launched my website &  personal brand in January of 2019. Back then it was noyoucantcallmeliz.com.

In 2020 I moved to my current apartment in downtown Baton Rouge. This was a significant change for me, although I had lived in Baton Rouge for over a decade, I was excited about the new opportunities & experiences that awaited me.

In March of 2023 I rebranded NoYouCantCallMeLiz to Elizabeth Rhea & moved my website over to elizabethrhea.com. No rebrand would be complete without a redesign of course! I hope you’ve enjoyed what it’s come to be.
